Organization – finance

We have opted for as light a structure as possible in order to minimize running costs and thereby concentrate our resources on our core actions. The association operates on a voluntary basis with the minimal number of administrators, which means a three-member board.

In financial terms, the association approximately covers its operating costs through annual subscriptions. Besides subscriptions, the association receives donations from individuals and companies which together make up its sole revenue.

This method of operation allows us to function openly, and means we don’t have to seek operational subsidies. Above all it allows us, in a sponsorship operation such as that recently finalized with Pullman Hotels, to guarantee to sponsors that donations will be fully attributed to the cause that they support. We hold this principle of openness very dear and the board intends to maintain it.

Administration – board

The Board, the association’s administrative structure, is currently composed of three people responsible for its management:

  • Etienne Rosenstiehl – president: agronomy engineer and economist – amateur beekeeper.
  • Catherine Desroches – secretary: legal assistant.
  • Marion Rosenstiehl – treasurer: student at business school.
